This is the second side of the Electric Soul tape, recorded in Sept 1999. I think this was the second or third tape I made when I finally got my own decks. I'd just moved back to London after two-and-a-half years away, and it was a great time to be back.
This tape was made at the end of a really hot summer of going to parties such as Whoop Whoop, Wiggle and Save The Rhino, Saturday nights with Deano in the lounge at Subterrain at the The End, afternoons in Tag records, lock-ins at The Conquerer behind Shoreditch church, Sunday mornings falling around the flower market. Warehouse dancefloors, sunny mornings, drinking by the river, buying records, signing on, making tapes...
