I give you a few of my favourite country and country-adjacent tracks. Many are a celebration of life and love south of the Manson-Nixon Line, and some deal with darker subject matter, all unified by extraordinary songwriting, insane guitar playing, and/or a lot of heart.

I maintain that one has not lived until one has heard the entire extended music version of Free Bird (even better if one has cranked it up to 11 whilst doing donuts on gravel in one's Camaro). It is, perhaps, the greatest rock song ever. Or at least in the Top 5. And I give it to you here for your listening pleasure, or for the soundtrack to your next bar fight or high speed car chase...
