Punk Rockers, Beets & Breaks: From the Balkans to the Backyard Barbecue - Mixtape 177 (260515)

Today’s mix begins with one of the UK’s biggest tracks from 20 (!!!) years ago, but with a slight twist about 45 seconds in.

From there we depart on our regular journey through the unusual yet familiar: a detour through the Balkans, reimagined classic hip hop, a Caribbean sojourn, and some familiar‑but‑strange classic house, amongst other beety delights.

I hope you enjoy, and have a great weekend!
