Mixtape 98: Every Kind of Music But Country (250324)

Yep, the title is a bit misleading. I started to pull together a shuffle play, but country songs kept cropping up, so I went with the spirit of the shuffle. So I give you both kinds of music: Country AND Western.

One of my favourite things about the best Country music is the storytelling, and most of these tracks have a story to tell. Some stories are funny, some tragic, and some just downright weird.

Any resemblance between people, places and events described in tracks 1, 5, 8, 10 & 13, and those in the life of your humble DJ, is purely coincidental.

I hope you all enjoy this exposure to high culture.
