I took a bit of inspiration from some of those turntablist cut-up DJ mixes typically put out by Fort Knox Recordings ( @FortKnox ) to pull this one together. Comparatively speaking my efforts are extremely pedestrian, but maybe one day...
We start up with a touch of house influence but quickly move through a variety of breakbeat-y, hip hop-y, funk-ish tunes, with a dash of ragga hip hop here and there. Some are brand-spanking-new and some are over thirty years old.
Warning, there are a few songs with naughty words in them, so don't go blasting them in an office environment with HR reps within hearing range. Mrs. G and Little Miss G disapprove, but I think the songs themselves warrant a bit of tolerance toward their colourful expletives.
