Today's mix is comprised of a selection of house-y/disco-y 2024 releases I've played this year, each of which have stuck with me. As I limited it to two hours, there were a lot of songs that meet that criteria which didn't make it to this mix.
The first half hour or so is comprised of re-mixes/re-cuts/re-imaginings of older tunes. Then we take a decidedly tropical disco turn for a little while and then, after that, it's anything goes as far as subgenres of disco and house go. And for some reason, the Italians and the French are heavily represented. Must be something in the continental water.
Apologies to those of you I normally listen to for not listening and commenting, but I have barely had a chance to catch my breath since I logged off of work on the 20th. Some holiday, eh?
