I thought I would slow it down a bit by pulling together a compilation of standards, however, the first two or three that came to mind were composed by Duke Ellington, so it became apparent what I had to do.
This is a tribute to Duke Ellington, and it was awfully difficult not to break the featured artist rules on this one as there are so many good tracks to pick from. But I came to realise that I don't have as much Duke Ellington as I should. I shall be remedying this soon.
And yes, I know the picture looks nothing like him, but it's a cool looking cat nonetheless.
