I was down with the manflu all weekend, and whilst I was suffering in bed and feeling sorry for myself, I decided to reduce the size of my Bandcamp wishlist. This set is mainly the fruits of that Bandcamp raid. (With a handful of tunes from other sources.)
And in a first for me, every song on here has a release date of 2024.
There is a lot of Afro-, Latin-, and Deep House and house-y music on it, but we've got a bit of reggae, ska, and future jazz thrown into the mix, as well, alongside some funky breaky music and afrobeat flavours. Also, Reel People Music had a discount code so I picked up a couple of their 2024 compilation albums - quite a few tracks made it onto this.
