Maybe it's the weather. I listened to the first song in this mix last night and was hit with an overwhelming sentimental feeling. It was like nostalgia, almost saudades, mixed in with a bit of reverie and gratitude.
All of these songs hold a bit of meaning for me. Almost a musical autobiography.
This is dedicated to my wife and my daughters. (Although they would, rightly, call me a soppy git.)
