As usual we have an assortment of tracks released this year on Bandcamp. With a couple tracks of special note.
Track 2 is a track by Little Miss G's older sister, Big Miss G aka Mëi. She was once described by Mixmag as a damaged Lana del Rey. She has had a bit of play on Spotify, and enjoyed a little bit of a profile in lo-fi a few years ago. This is her first Bandcamp single, and I hope to see more.
Track 11 is by a friend of the family. He is a truly talented singer/musician/composer and his latest solo album is out now on Bandcamp. It's a well-crafted, solid album combining the best of 70s prog rock with a modern Radiohead aesthetic and the quirky Englishness of XTC, and his vocals are amazing. (I'm not sure he'll appreciate that description, or me mixing him in over a house beat, but we won't tell him...)
I hope you enjoy both tracks (and the rest!) as much as I do.
