When Little Miss G started learning to play cello, I used the first musician on today's roster to show her what cello could sound like outside of an orchestra. Little Miss G soon built most of her Spotify preferences around Zoë Keating so that at any given time she is likely to be listening to Dark Cello [who knew that was a genre?] or Intense Classical Music.
And now she really, really wants to wear a cloak. What hath I wrought??
Most of the rest of this is a bit more laidback downtempo and jazzy goodness, with a couple of forays into slightly funkier realms. It has some dark moments and some bright moments.
And I challenge you not to smile on the penultimate song...
