Beets and Ballers: From Soul Shots to Hermanos Latinos - Mixtape 182 (260619)

When I first heard the opening track it made me smile, and it felt like the perfect way to start a baller's weekend. It’s not my usual fare, but it’s short, sweet, and does the job.

From there it swings through the 1960s, a turn‑of‑the‑century SoCal trilogy, a touch of island flavour, some stanky funktronica, a bit of Nuyorican heat, and a few surprises along the way.
