This mix ROOTS is a tribute to my father whom I miss dearly and to significant moments in my life. The first part evokes a childhood memory at the circus, with trumpet soud reminiscent of the march of elephants. My father loved to take my sister and me there. Then the mix explores 2 opera pieces fused with melodic techno ! Because my father likes to listen to the sounds of opera. At the 33 minute, a piece integrating an Armenian duduk represents a kind granny who welcomed me and supported me during my studies far from home. She loved meditative sounds and passed on to me values of courage and kindness. Her absence still touches me but her wisdom continues to inspire me. This mix is also a reflection on love and life lessons, inspired by the perseverance and positivity that my father instilled in me. Through this musical journey, I pay tribute to him.
