HYC 033 welcomes a guest mix from a certified legend of the music World David Harrow. Having been recording and producing music for over 35 years as both a solo artist and a member of a number of collectives David Harrow's music transcends genres and styles. From Working alongside the likes of Adrian Sherwood as part of the OnU Soundsystem & collaborations with Andrew Weatherall as Blood Sugar through to releases on Ubiquity as James Hardway and so much more, he has played a vital role in a number of genres and scenes.
For this mix he dons his Oicho moniker and brings a dubby / bass driven set that melts through grime, electronic music, bass, reggae and so much more. It really is an incredible listen, expertly crafted and thoughtfully composed.
Running into his mix HYC boss man Jonny Dub presents 15 minutes of mostly new music from the likes of Esgar, Flako, Muttley plus a few other bits hopefully setting the scene and laying the vibe for the mix to come.
