HYC 031 - Daffy (Bristol) 13/07/2017

HYC episode 031 welcomes a guest mix from Bristol based producer Daffy.

Daffy set up the Pear Drops label back in 2014 alongside Thadeous and has been pushing the Bristol bass music / instrumental grime sound since. With releases by Muttley, Polonis, Boycott and most recently Skelecta (link to the latest release below) Pear Drops is cementing itself as one of the most exciting labels coming out of Bristol at the moment and has had a lot of support throughout the HYC mix series. It was only a matter of time before we had to get the label head Daffy in to do a mix for us.

His mix is a good taste of where the Pear Drops sound is at right now and features a load of forthcoming bits from Daffy as well as some other tasty bits

Leading up to this Jonny Dub plays 30 minutes of music with brand new stuff from Detboi, Walton, Kabuki, Eprom, Thelem, Skelecta, Taz, Sangy and more.
