SIR ALAN PARKER. His films have won 19 BAFTA awards, 10 Golden Globes and 10 Oscars. He was awarded the CBE for his services to the British film industry. He is a Founding member of the Directors Guild of Great Britain. In February 2013 he received the BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award, the highest honour the British Film Academy can give a filmmaker. He wrote the Introduction to my biography of Procol Harum in 2012 and on 08.10.2013 came in to speak exclusively on ‘Wanted’ on Resonance 104.4 fm London.
