On February 20th 2013 Roy Carr NME writer-journalist came in to appear exclusively on Wanted for Resonance fm 104,4 fm London. Here he imparts some marvellous tales that have never been told on air before. He was famously Special Projects Editor at NME throughout the 1970's and 1980's and the first guy to write illustrated album sized books on The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and David Bowie. He knew and spent time with producer Phil Spector and The Ramones. He has worked with and known John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen and Sly Stone, amongst many others. He came up with the best R&B Anthology ever released on CD in the shape of White Lightning as well as the best Vietnam War Songs album ever issued anywhere, made exclusively in conjunction with NME.
