Julian Pettifer OBE came in to Resonance fm 104.4 London on January 27th 2015 and gave exclusive insight into his life as a TV War Reporter. He worked in TV for over 50 years and was integral in covering the first TV War - The Vietnam War for the BBC at a time when war reporting was at its bravest and most illuminating. He is without a shadow of a doubt the greatest living war reporter of his time. His work flourished at BBC TV's Tonight, 24 Hours and Panorama, in particular, during this golden age of documentary news reporting. In 1968 he was awarded The BAFTA Richard Dimbleby Award for his reporting in Vietnam. In 2010 he was awarded an OBE. His list of TV series series credits for ITV, Channel 4 and the BBC is both vast and varied; namely Correspondent, Assignment, Timewatch, Diamonds In The Sky, Automania, Naturewatch and Missionaries to name but a few.
