Art Themen is Britain's greatest living 'Blues and Jazz' saxophonist. In the early 1960's he played with The Cyril Davies All Stars, and Alexis Korner's Blues Inc, before becoming every major Jazz artiste's 'guest' saxophone player of choice, playing at all the major Jazz venues across Britain with the likes of Dick Heckstall-Smith and Tubby Hayes, amongst a host of others. Art picks some of his favourite moments of music from Sonny Rollins to John Coltrane, and Nina Simone to Hoagy Carmichael. He plays Hoagy's Skylark live in the studio.
