These mixes are the vestige of a defunct '80s nightclub that's currently decaying deep in a sealed vault. The club was originally to be called Threads, but pretty much on the eve of the first run, Meta announced its microblogging platform, so we re-named it Arcadia for distance. Just another example of Instagram ruining clubbing. I'm reclaiming the more appropriate Threads as my series title for the mixtapes. Out to Sly Dunbar with this one, RIP.
