After a year spent compiling the Soul Connoisseurs Chart based on other people's taste , and hearing thousands of tracks, this is my chance to reflect my own personal taste which has been influenced by so many different sounds during the year going from Neo to Retro to more traditional Soul and Soulful R&B. However the common factor is the passion showed by all these artists for their music and the craft and creativity involved in the production and arrangement . 17 of the Top 40 artists are interviewed LIVE on the show and it's a joy to give them the chance to tell us about themselves.
