Well, this installment of the holidaze is all but a distant memory, which in turn marks the fifth anniversary of the Fufu Stew blog for what it's worth since I haven't updated it in over six months. Soon... It is a little known fact that I purposely launched the blog as a result of the passing of the Godfather. I refrained from posting a tribute mix for five years simply because, get ready for it... it had been done to death. Honestly, I felt as though I could never top the fine tributes that have been put on the internets over the years, so I didn't try. This year I went with my gut instinct and composed this simple ode to the most influential figure in music, period. I made the mix a week ago using all original grade 45's (scratches and all), one LP track, and a bonus romp at the end. I truly hope it does him justice, and I hope you all enjoy :)
