The Sound Republic - Epiphic 5 Year Anniversary Mix 2005

This is a rare one from fall 2005. This mix was not hosted by us anywhere on the internet as it was made for CD distribution for a tour we did with our long time friend from Appleton, WI, Michael John. He commandeered a production company there called Epiphic, and together we shared a great many good good times. I had totally forgotten about this mix until I recently uncovered a single CD copy of it in a box of junk in my basement. Here are some words from the card inside the mix case:

"This fall we welcome the latest additions to the Epiphic family, The Sound Republic a.k.a. John Mork and Frankie J. This dynamic duo from Chicago are making quite a name for themselves in the global underground House community with recent/upcoming record releases on Tango, Guesthouse, Guess Who?, DAE, Blackcherry, Mamma's Home Cooking, and Bunchlox. We're really not sure why people of this calibur want to be associated with scumbags like us, but nonetheless we welcome them with open arms."
