Tell me I'm not alone (Eclectic Playlist Series 9.01)

The Eclectic Playlist Series moves into its ninth year. A reminder about self-imposed rules: no artist appears on a playlist more than once in a calendar year; in January, the playlists reset and everyone's up for grabs again. I harbor no false illusions that I'm doing these for anyone but myself; that said, I am really happy to offer them as well to whatever small number of like-minded music fans who find their way to this off-the-beaten-track, non-commercial, anti-algorithmic musical oasis.
