After training for eight weeks to run a half marathon, both Mrs. Larson and Mrs. Spencer discuss how their own training compares to the endurance of a writer. Listen in to hear how they challenged themselves on the pavement, as well as how to train your young writer to endure the distance by setting small goals and taking it one day at a time. Writing truly is a process and once students start to embrace this, they will excel in their challenges as a writer.
