About the mix: Unlike our previous mixes, which were more about putting Group Modular's music in some sort of historical and aesthetic context, this time we've used the opportunity to share music that inspires us as we're taking our sound in a new direction (as was first revealed in the new tune "Lonely Pylon", recorded for a split EP on Russian Library). Most tracks in this mix share a common motif of patterns, textures and all sorts of repetitive sonic and melodic geometry - a musical companion of sorts to our fascination with post-WWII modernist design and architecture.
