Alexander Green (Eyot Tapes) has been involved in electronic music for over 20 years. He’s had success as a producer under a couple of different aliases and was a touring DJ for well over a decade. His most recent project has involved recording everything to cassette tapes, using tape loops, and only using vintage effects, mainly tape delays and spring reverbs. His debut album ‘Paradise Lost’ comes out on the fantastic and well-respected ‘Muscut record label in January 2023. The album came about after he discovered Muscut and Andrew Pekler. Al states that they were a big influence on him and that's what made him start experimenting with this concept. The mix he’s compiled is a selection of music he’s been enjoying recently. It’s deep and hazy with tropical undertones. It also leads to early electronics. Enjoy!
