I am back after a number of people sent me emails asking for this particular type of music. So I have come up with a show that I hope is worthy of their listening. It's all to do with Lovers Rock Reggae music
The roots of lovers rock lie in the last days of the rocksteady era and early days of reggae, with Jamaican and American singers such as Ken Boothe, Johnny Nash and John Holt enjoying international hits.
It was a movement within the London Reggae scene that really pushed the music to International acclaim in the late 1970s and early 1980;s. and it continues to this day.
