FSQ, an acronym for Funk, Style, Quality, is comprised of Chuck "Da Fonk" Fishman, Sa´D "The Hourchild" Ali, Matt “One Era” Coogan, and Chas Bronz. Each member of this quintet derives from a deep musical background.
Chuck Da Fonk toured and recorded with George Clinton & Parliament - Funkadelic in the mid nineties. The Hourchild is equal parts hype-man as he is discographer, having cut his teeth in the nineties servicing Tommy Boy’s record pool. The Hourchild is also George Clinton’s nephew who looked after a young Chuck back in the day. Philly-based Matt Coogan “One Era” is a talented multi-instrumentalist and producer. Rounding out this diverse crew, Chas Bronz, is most known for his talents behind the decks and on the guitar, as well as a slew of other instruments.
