In this latest release from Dante, he definitely takes us on a voyage and at times this mix most assuredly feels haunted. The set begins with an homage to the past and lures you in with it's safe accessibility, but the set list quickly morphs into a more assertive sound that energizes the spirit and your curiosity. One can sense an ominous tone as the tracks progress in both dark chords and tempo. By the time you're halfway through, Dante gives us an energy level that's perfect for big room dance floors, and just as you're yearning for a bit of a break, the denouement of the mix begins and he sends us off with dreamy, funky positive vibes. This is a great mix for our transition to the new year...we're all cautiously optimistic. - John Atchley
