To say Chris's latest set is mad with purpose is to overlook the thoughtful attention to variety itself. Chris has made a distinct move towards changes in tempo and vocals. He uses both as masterful interludes among some very underground beats. There are many memorable moments like 21 minutes in when the funk hits the fan. Farther down the line at 40+ minutes the layers of rhythms provide enough motivation to keep turning the damn volume up. And with a careful ear for sound quality and mastering, there is no concern for distortion or blown speakers. Good form indeed.
