In his mixtape and interview, Evelev builds a slow foundation, starting with Evan Parker’s soft sax solo. He builds up steadily into more outsider electronic, treating the mixtape with Frog of Earth. The energy reaches a high point when Noel-E is welcomed to the mix, telling us not to do drugs. Evelev wraps up by bringing the energy back down a little, closing with some soulful R&B.
