Charlie Dark - Peace, Positivity, and Blessings by Dust & Grooves

Charlie Dark – Peace, Positivity & Blessings
New interview now live on the Dust & Grooves website. Published in full from Dust & Grooves Vol. 2: Further Adventures in Record Collecting.

“I went from hating everything African about myself to falling in love with the music from that continent. When I first heard Fela Kuti and Roy Ayers’ Music of Many Colours, everything clicked — I suddenly realized I should be proud.”

DJ, poet, and community builder Charlie Dark reflects on how Fela Kuti helped him reconnect with his African roots, shaping an identity that runs through his life in music — from Attica Blues and Mo’ Wax to Blacktronika and Run Dem Crew.
A story of sound, heritage, and belonging — told with peace, positivity, and blessings.
