In her interview and mixtape, the Miami-based DJ takes us on a journey through sounds. With predominantly 1980s tunes, Cardenas eases in with some gentle German Krautrock from Harmonia, and stays on the gentle side of Herbie Hancock, with “Bubbles”. The middle of the tape amps up the energy, with Ikare helping to do so, with Pizzacato Five not far behind.
