The first of what'll hopefully be regular live recordings of my Friday night sets at my Jazz Cafe residency. I've been playing at this iconic venue for the best part of three decades, and it still excites me! Every week it's a different story, and on this first recording I followed on from a live Nina Simone tribute with a couple of classics from the lady herself before getting in the Valentines mood and then firing things up for a live set from Egyptian Lover with a little soul gliding, disco, boogie, electro, hip hop and gospel!
