Black Lives Matter, Harringay @ Myddleton Road Market #001

On a very rainy Sunday in early October we took our sound system, that had been entertaining the community and supporting the BLM movement in a certain street in Harringay over the summer, to a very special market just a couple of miles up the road. Myddleton Road Market is one of London's finest and most diverse monthly happenings. As well as locally sourced food, drink and hand made clothing, and a number of tasty cafes and bakeries, it's now also home to our BLM event on the first Sunday of every month. For our debut, Dom was joined by special guests Miss Soxee and DJ Conrad for the best part of five hours of musical goodness. We were lucky enough to have Vanessa Freeman performed a couple of live PAs, plus there were impromtu performances from Jake on sax, our host Benjah on percussion, and some words from sound system co-founder Nick.
