Our sixth outing on to the streets of North London to come together with our community and support the Black Lives Matter movement. This week was a special one as we remembered Joy Gardner, who lost her life when police and border officials entered her home in Hornsey 27 years ago. We were also doubly blessed as we had Vivek, the Harringay Stand Up To Racism secretary, say a few poignant words, and our very own Afrobeat ambassador Dele Sosimi perform a little impromptu live PA and dance workout to keep spirits high. Percussion was by Benjah (and Isaac).
