The event was the National Colonial Exhibition held from April 'til November 1922 in Marseille,France.Probably as a showcase of the supremacy of the white man over the colonies France had at the time.For example:Algeria was perceived as France proper...the Algerian population became foreigners in their own country.The French behaved rather badly and mistreated locals in such a a way they had to take up arms and evict the French masters...another example of the misguided colonial policies of a chapter in history the "white man" would rather forget about.Now the chickens have come home to roost,and they (The former colonial masters,or more correctly,their descendants) ask themselves what do all those foreigners want in our countries...I guess it's payback for all the criminal acts,atrocities and ongoing theft in these "former colonies" of which some have still ties to their former Slave Masters.Because that's exactly what it is...slavery...it never stopped and most likely never will.
