When I record a mix, specially a chillout mix I have to look for tracks and listen to each one individually. Then I need to make a selection and position the tracks in a way that allows me to tell a "story" so to speak. I don't get stuff sent to me like so many other DJ's and then make a selection out of similar BPMed tracks. My mentor used to say to me:"Track selection is half of the mix...". Right! Sometimes I do my job right and everything sounds fine.I don't have to fiddle around too much with volume, equalization etc. Like this time here I think it all fits rather well...enjoy!!!
