I had a great time putting this together.I liked to listen to this kind of music as a kid and made Tapes recording the tracks one after the other and cutting the blanks so it would seem like a continuous mix.It was not common at the time to mix music and make one's own records that way.I'm talking 1972 here...I started to experiment using the first SONY Walkman simply fading in and out.Later on I would use two Walkmen to do "real" mixes.I had no money to buy a mixer. So I got a cheap Video mixer and used that for a long time. Then I got a MiniDisc Player/Recorder and used that as platform for my mixes. In the end I got a computer and the necessary programs I still use today.Available for free on the internet. No half automatic or automated mixing processing programs DJ's nowadays all seem to use.You would probably laugh if you knew what I use. But that's not the point. The point is creating something and distributing it to as many people as possible to enjoy...and bring happiness and joy.
