I made Tapes for everybody in my family,they were appreciated because I never recorded more than two tracks by the same artist which led to very varied music on them Tapes. Don't forget at the time you had to record everything in real time on Cassette Tapes,paying attention to VU Meters and such,I think that's how I started to get a sense of what goes together which served me well later when doing my live sets,planning Radio shows or recording mixes. The [Re] stands for Reused,meaning most of the tracks have been used in mixes already."Mixtape" means I only chose the best available music at my disposal at this moment...
