I received my Walkman Cassette Player today, nothing fancy just a sturdy little device built to play Tapes. I'd ordered some Cassettes from the same company in France. They're called "RTM" (Recording the Masters),I remember them making high quality Tapes and Reel to Reel in studio quality.I'd completely forgotten why I got rid of my old Tapes and switched to fully digital 20 years ago. There was a marked difference in sound quality when I used "RTM" tapes...almost as good as my mp3 recordings,still...there's a difference. No comparison to .flac files which I've become accustomed to. Just a reminder not to get too nostalgic about this... Reference:RTM-Cassette Player and Recorder B-1000 EW and RTM-High Quality Professional Audio Tapes. www.RECORDINGTHEMASTERS.COM Check it out. I don't dismiss Analogue sound quality.I don't have high end Tape Recording devices and no equalizer to correct certain Aspects of my recordings....
