Reflecting the Bands' jazz fusion period before Carlos went completely commercial with cheap platitudes working with rappers and whatnot...for awhile guys like John McLaughlin and others were an influence on Santana.That's more or less when he was still trying to create something worth listening to. Pity that's gone out the window. I've been to two concerts the first in Zurich's Hallenstadion about 45 years ago the second in Arnhem some 12 years ago. Both disappointing. I just don't like "Live" music too many issues with sound and the bl@@ding spectators won't shut up. Why go to a concert if you're gonna scream,cuss and do sh@t all the time?
