This is a 90s throwback mix.
Not all the music is from the 90s, but it's in the style I was playing then. In the mid-90s I was an "Acid Jazz" Dj and then mysteriously in the late 90s (without my permission) I became labeled a "downtempo" Dj because I didn't play House or D&B exclusively (I never play anything exclusively--there's too much good music!) I don't like "downtempo" as a term--it seems to imply "chill out" or at the least non-dance music. I defy anyone to keep still all the way thru this mix!
I play plenty of house & "dance music" now, but I wanted to put up a set of some of the other stuff I like to play.
