2009 Dancemix

My favourite dance tracks of 2009. My longlist contained over 50 tracks so this mix was also a tough one to make. I really love the Obama speech over the houseclassic "Can you feel it". Producers of the year are Tus'me (also last year!) and Linkwood and i have great memories of the small party on a boat this summer, where they played back to back. Great music and very nice guys. Also big shouts for fellow dutchmen Tom Trago! I'm also a huge fan of the re-edits by Pilooski and the crazy remixes of dj Koze. The soundtrack of Berlin Calling by Paul Kalkbrenner is also exellent (the movie is not that bad either). I'm really looking forward to new work from LCD Soundsytem but the remixes of "45:33" were very nice. The best dj-mix cd for me is "Temporary Secretary" by Dixon. But there is one track in this selection wich is very dear to me, and that is the Bill Withers remake by Henrik Scwarz. So good to see him dj-ing live this year.
