10VINYL#MIX13 - EW&F

For the 10 vinyl mixes, i grab 10 records from my shelves and make a mix out of it. Last week Maurice White passed away at the age of 75. I can't think of a band who has a bigger influence on my musical taste than Earth, Wind & Fire. A a young boy i used to go to my neighbours house to play records. There i discovered the first albums of Earth Wind and Fire and just couldn't stop listening to it. Later almost all my saved money went in buying records, and the new Earth Wind & Fire album was a blast everytime. I lost intrest in EWF in the 80's when i developed a taste for more alternative new wave music but until today i can always listen to the albums of Earth Wind & Fire without the feeling that they sound outdated. Maurice White is a humble genius and a shining star now.
