Dj, speaker, promoter and journalist, Andypop knows the Italian underground scene very well. After playing funk, electropop and rare grooves for years he chooses the drum'n'bass in 1998 selecting all its forms from ragga-jungle/jump up to its darker/deep side. Recently he has explored the sound of "bass music" with a particular focus on future garage and dubstep. In early '00 he founded the project "Basstation", the first Italian radio network entirely dedicated to drum'n'bass, he currently runs "Bassology" every friday night at 11:30 pm, a new show on Radio Popolare Roma 103.300 Mhz. About his journalist activity he wrote several articles and interviews about djing/street culture on some of the most important Italian urban magazines: he currently works with DJ Mag Italia and ALIAS (Il Manifesto) pointing his interests to the whole international dance scene....
