My wife, who some will know as Rachel and others will know as The Duchess, asked me to put together a little mix for us to enjoy while unwrapping presents with the family. I thought I'd share it as something you may choose to soundtrack your own festive celebrations.
The mix starts off really gently with some laid back jazz and soul before, because I can't help myself, going off in a wild exploration of some of the lesser heard jazz, funk, soul, disco, house and hip hop gems lurking in my crates. This isn't the same 20 Christmas tunes that have been piped around every shop for the last month - we are talking classics and stone cold killers, plus that really annoying Akim & Teddy Vann record!
