I celebrated my 45th birthday with a monster 45s only session at Baila's Coffee & Vinyl in Swindon.
The day started with a party at Chez Shep eight hours earlier; those looking for technical wizardry should look elsewhere - the session at Baila's was about a passionate music lover being joined by like minded souls to play a bunch of records that influenced me throughout the 70s, 80s, 90s and in to the 21st century... that and we were already well refreshed before we took to the decks! Expect an eclectic selection of jazz, soul, funk, rare groove, hip hop, boogie, disco, Motown, Philly and so much more over five hours.
