Just two weeks to go until the party of 2025 as the Beat Bunker returns from 18th-20th July 2025 at a beautiful location in Bodiam, East Sussex.

Playing a peak time set is easy; pull together the biggest new releases and a few classics then off you go. What about the opening set on the second day of a festival, when everyone is hanging after overdoing it on the first night? I've made Hangover Selections my own over the years, kicking off the second day of several Beat Bunkers with a slow and low midday set.

This all vinyl, all 45s mix touches on reggae, jazz, Brazilian beats, funk and curve balls, slowly building things up. In my mind I was picturing bleary eyed people slowly entering the land of the living and making sure I gently took them with me as I built things up for the madness ahead.
